P.S. Steve Farrell and Stanislav Malyshev since were on the topic of tasks —
We do allow our enterprise / organizational customers to actually automate task creation based on job search activity (For example, always create “send a thank you email” when a job is moved to “interview” stage)
Is this something of interest to you on an individual level? Please share some of your potential use cases
Steve Farrell
Puneet Kohli: Omg yes! I wasn't aware there was another tier beyond the premium one that I'm' already using.

Steve Farrell: it’s geared towards organizations who work with a variety of job seekers, we do have a few extra bells and whistles for them such as task automation, weekly goals, dashboards (also coming to individuals soon), and resources

I think this would be mostly useful for things like followups or requests, e.g. they said they'll get back to me by Monday, so if they forget, I should ping them on Tuesday. Or, they asked me for a link to my work on X, so I shouldn't forget to send them that. Yes, those will be repetitive at times, but I think company name + job name + task content would identify them in the list.
Steve Farrell
Stanislav Malyshev: See my comment below, but essentially, yes. The concept that these are things all job seekers are doing regardless. This is just another way to direct more and consistent usage of this platform, which in term would allow the creation of a stronger LLM and AI model to give direction and essentially make this an essential part of my career that I couldn't live without.

Thanks for sharing this; If you’re using the tasks actively, this can definitely be challenging without a global view.
In general, do you have the same / similar tasks and actions per job/contact, or are they unique to each?
The reason I ask is because if your tasks are very similar in nature, your global task list would be quite repetitive
Steve Farrell
Puneet Kohli: A bit of both. With the highly competitive job market in tech sales right now, you have a 1% chance of getting even a recruiter screen without a referral. So my first step is to find someone on linkedin that I could reach out to pursue a referral.
But then there are things like sending a followup emails after an interview. or setting up tasks relate to the interview, like research, preparing a presentation, etc
While repetitive, it's something that needs to be done, and today I just have a "to-do list" to manage in ADDITION to CareerFlow. I'd be happy to show you how I've been doing this in a spreadsheet. I'm just committing fully to using CareerFlow so that I'm not onstantly task switching.
Plus, I imagine if you allowed me to include tasks, the Ai could evolve to start making recommendations, noting patterns in my interview processes, etc.
Puneet Kohli
Steve Farrell: Agreed with your viewpoint. Happy to look at your spreadsheet, if you’re willing to share here that’s great else you can email it to me at puneet(at)careerflow.ai

Puneet Kohli: Just added you to the Google Sheet. here's the lini: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VXD9MfBX3TQFVf_UHGZi_IoxvXjKvYGc-q1CeVNu83w/edit?usp=sharing
