Hi Team, here’s my vision for automating the job tracker:
  1. Automatic Status Updates:
  • The tracker could integrate with email, LinkedIn, or job board platforms to automatically detect responses like interview invitations, rejections, or application acknowledgments.
  • For example, the system could scan email subjects or content for keywords like "interview," "offer," or "rejection" and update the tracker accordingly.
  1. Activity Monitoring:
  • If I apply for a job through Careerflow or linked platforms, the tracker should automatically log the job application, date, and status (e.g., "Application Sent").
  • Updates from LinkedIn (e.g., a job viewed or applied) could sync with the tracker in real-time.
  1. Centralized Notifications:
  • A dashboard or notification system that informs me of changes detected in applications (like a reply from an employer or a job posting update).
  1. Ease of Configuration:
  • Users could customize what triggers an update—e.g., job applied, job viewed, or follow-ups from emails.
Currently, manually updating the tracker consumes time and leaves room for errors. An automated backend process would significantly improve user experience by providing an up-to-date, hassle-free tracker view.
